Horse Racing Tips for Sunday (26/01/2020)
Top 2/3 advised

Naas- 15:10

Carefully Selected @ 1.66

J: Paul Townend
T: W P Mullins
Form: 31311
This contest features a decent field of runners and we expect Carefully Selected to land the spoils and from the way he ran on his two runs this season he should take all the beating despite the extra trip. Won a Grade 3 at Punchestown last time and this looks a similar task.

Naas: 14:40

Stormy Ireland @ 1.50

J: Paul Townend
T: W P Mullins
Form: 22611
Stormy Ireland for trainer, Willie Mullins has been superb this season starting her campaign off at Punchestown and seeing off a decent field of runners in a nice Listed event. Front runner who has won her last two starts, has found a good opportunity.

Naas- 15::40

The Big Getaway @1.57

J: Paul Townend
T: W P Mullins
Form: 12214
The Big Getaway is a horse I like.
This six year old son of Getaway was a very smart bumper horse finishing second twice behind some nice horses and then on his first run this season bolted up at Punchestown.
He went went over hurdles the last time out only to make a big error at the last flight that ruined his chances of winning. He showed he had clear stamina that day to get today’s trip. Good enough fourth at Leopardstown when well fancied on debut, should make amends here. He just needs to have some good jumping to fight off Ronald Pump who’s a bigger threat also with a lighter weight. I expect it a tight finish.

Sedgefield- 16:30

Ask Paddy @ 3.25

J: Jonathan England
T: Sam England
Form: P5411
He has improved all round after the fitting of cheekpieces, and ran an easy winner twice at Catterick this January. Ask Paddy challenged a six pound rise last time out, a seven pound penalty doesn’t look enough to stop the eight-year-old in the form of his life. Won twice at Catterick recently and is hard to oppose if bringing this same form to the race.
Major challenger should be Putthecashonthedash.

Fontwell- 15:20

Beaufort West @ 1.40

J: Jonjo O’Neill Jnr
T: C L Tizzard
Form: 62P-01
Won easily last time out at Chepstow and this looks a simple task. Harry Cobden’s Grand Slam is a threat.

Sedgefield- 15:30

Dame du Soir @ 3.00

J: Brendan Powell
T: WD G Bridgwater
Form: 16P-21Won last time out at Hereford and is only 1lb higher than his hurdle mark. He’s becoming more consistent too. Would have to be better than recent races to put this to bed as I expect a smart run.

Sedgefield- 14:20

Manofthemoment @ 3.25
J: J J Burke
T: T R George
Form: 1-U631
Improved to win at Warwick last time out and looks to have found a decent opportunity here. Has the weights here and Oscar Wilde might prove difficult.
